Food intake:
Veg:
Mushroom soup = 1 x Punnet Mushrooms | 1 x Courgette | 1 x Red Pepper | Organic stock
Fruit:
Strawberry smoothie = 2 x Punnet Strawbs | 2 x Banana | 1 x Satsuma | Glass fresh OJ
Melon smoothie = 1/2 leftover Melon | 1/2 leftover Papaya | 2 x Banana | Dash of OJ | Water
My trusty herbal and fruit teas throughout the day (Clipper's Apple and Elderflower is my favourite so far)
General feeling:
First day on the Master Cleanse at work and I was slightly apprehensive about my concentration levels wandering but all-in-all - a good afternoon. Absolutely loved my fruit smoothie concoctions however the mushroom soup was rank, I really didn't prepare for the taste without cream / philly. Must always avoid this on diets in the forever future!
It had a watery, lifeless consistency and tasty like something you'd expect served in prison. I could have definitely made better veg choices to include some potatoes, leeks...anything but bog water! Anyway...get over the soup already.
I came home from work and napped, hard! I rarely nap after work as I'm usually busy doing other things around the house but I completely flaked on the sofa - for an hour and a half!
At 7.30 pm my other half waked me and I reluctantly peeled myself from the sofa, downed the remnants of my melon smoothie (best part of my day) and took myself to the gym for a light work out and swim.
I only managed 20 minutes on the cross trainer - burning 200 cals - and then a 10 minute sauna as I was just so fatigued but felt much better having let off some steam.
Unfortunately having gone to bed at 10 pm I stayed wide awake until midnight with a rumbling tummy and a touch of insomnia attributed to lack of food...
