Food intake:
4 x Lemonade
General feeling:
I woke up pretty fresh this morning but steered clear from weighing myself. So far I've lost 4lb since I started the cleanse which doesn't sound like much in the grand scheme of things but I didn't have a vast amount to lose in the first place. I thought I'd have the morning off and see what the scales say tomorrow.
One thing I can say though is how flat my stomach looks compared to last weekend. I think I may be seeing some definition return which pleases me beyond! I haven't felt bloated at all since this process began and I'm really looking forward to seeing the final results early next week. Not much longer to go...
I went shopping with my mum today so made sure I had a lemonade before I left the house and it staved off my hunger until around midday when we had a brief coffee stop. I could have murdered a latte but I politely declined the waitress and asked for a pot of boiled water as none of Cote's teas are organic...talk about dedication to the cause!
As I've previously mentioned, this cleanse is extremely antisocial and you may as well wave goodbye to enjoying any form of social activity outside of the house as you're bound to run into food somewhere along the way. My poor mum was trying to be polite and convince me she wasn't hungry, but by 3pm I could see she was fading so we popped into Bluebeckers for a quick bite to eat.
Before I went in, I took a VERY deep breath...I could smell the chips and steak even before I opened the door!
As my mum sipped a delightful looking vegetable soup with a huge hunk of bread and butter I reluctantly drank a cinnamon tea and attempted to mask my pure jealously!! It's a fact, doing the master cleanse on a weekend is SHIT.
Having had a great day shopping I came home to find my stomach rumbling. Only one lemonade between 10 am and 5 pm wasn't the best idea but I soon levelled out the hunger by downing another glass of yellow 'goodness' followed by a Pukka tea.
As soon as my mood was back to normal it soon rocketed back down again...Rob had decided to make home made pizza topped with salami, beef, cheese and chillies for dinner. As I said before, the cleanse on a weekend is utterly SHIT! Must admit my cravings are sky high today.
Trying to stay positive and think about the lack of calories consumed but it's tough, really tough!!
I know my lemonade intake is rather low too, 4 lemonades in one day seems awful but I've drank A LOT of herbal tea in the meantime. I just really can't stand the drink today and I'm really craving savoury food. I even found myself sniffing a pack of salami in the fridge earlier left over from Rob's pizza sesh...what a lunatic! I can safely say I resisted though. No solid food since last Sunday and I had to go a little loopy at some stage... tonight was it!
So at midnight I've had enough of today...time for bed and time to curl up with a rumbling tummy. Weekend, you've taken it out of me.
Overall mood: 4/10
