Food intake:
Veg:
2 x Avocado | 1 x Yellow Pepper | Selection of tomatoes, carrot sticks & leaves | 3 x celery sticks
Fruit:
1/2 Melon | 1/2 Papaya | 2 x Apples | 1 x Banana | Bowl of Grapes
Organic herbal & fruit tea throughout the day
General feeling:
So my mood is pretty positive and it seems my body is quite capable of functioning from the weekend's toxicities (which included an epic trip to MEATLiquor on Saturday teamed with a ton of alcohol) so the first day's vitamins arrived as a much needed surprise to my digestive system.
Highs and lows here and there (Dominoes pizza would be my usual hangover weapon of choice) however the greens and bright fruits gave me some much needed energy for the best part of the day - despite squeezing in a half hour nap at 3pm.
This will have been my first Vegan day since I can remember, and in all honestly it wasn't as bad as I thought. I actually felt like I was doing my body some good for a change instead of being lumped on the sofa all day floating to the fridge every other hour like a greedy possessed moth to a flame. Knowing that I was limited to only two food groups had a comforting restriction...
I didn't even crave the sausage and veg medley my other half prepared for dinner as I sat contently nibbling my grapes. If every day is like day one...the cleanse will be a breeze...!
Overall mood: 7/10
